Skoda Auto India today, digitally launched the Superb facelift. The new Skoda Superb will be available in two variants, the luxurious Laurin & Klement (L&K) and the sportier looking Sportline trim.
The facelift version of the Skoda Superb sedan comes with several upgrades. For starters, it gets a redesigned front bumper, narrower and sleeker full matrix LED headlights, more detailed tail lamps, the fenders and doors will now sport new split chrome badging, updated grille, along with a slew of other styling tweaks, most notable of these is the thin chrome strip (polished black for Sportline variant) that runs the entire length of the rear, cutting through the lights, which now have sequential turn indicators.
Inside, it gets a Virtual Cockpit fully digital instrument cluster with a 10.25-inch configurable display, puddle lamps with Skoda logo and 8 airbags. The L&K variant also gets the remarkable Canton speaker system. The Facelift Skoda Superb boasts a 2.0-litre TSI engine mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. The engine delivers 190PS of power and 320Nm of torque and has top speed of 239 Kmph.
While the L&K variant will be made available in five colour options - Lava Blue, Moon White, Business Grey, Magic Black and Magnetic Brown, the Sportline will arrive in Race Blue, Moon White and Steel Grey.
Prices for the Facelift Skoda Superb start at of Rs. 29.99 Lakh for the Sportline and Rs. 32.99 Lakh for the L&K. The Superb is a remarkable, well packaged offering by Skoda and dare I say Value for Money for what it has on offer.
