
BMW launched the 4th generation X5 in India today. A distinctive new BMW design language with unmistakable BMW off-roading genes, commanding road presence and robust proportions define the new X5.
Launched jointly by legendary sports person Mr. Sachin Tendulkar and Dr Hans- Christian Baertels, President BMW Group India, the all new X5 demonstrates modern design language from BMW.

On the occasion of launch, Dr. Baertels said “BMW established the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) segment with the launch of the X5 in 1999. The X5 has been the best selling car in this segment for many years and has become one of our most successful models. The fourth generation embodies this model’s typical characteristics- Versatility, Sovereignty and Luxury.”
The X5 is available in there variants, Sport, xLine and M Sport. The BMW X5 for now will be available in two diesel models and the petrol will be launched at a later date. All the engines would be in 3 litre configuration, with the diesels churning out 265 HP of power and 620 NM of Torque and the petrol churning out 340 HP of power and 450 NM of Torque.

Just as the exterior makes a powerful statement in this all new X5, the interiors too boasts of an exceptional level of comfort and functionality in an extremely sporty ambience. With boot capacity going right up to 1870 litres with rear seats down, this X5 is capable of hauling entire houses’ baggage with one go.

With X5, BMW introduces a unique feature- “Crafted Clarity”- which is a host of operational features crafted in exquisite glass that embellish the insert of the gear selector, the iDrive control wheel, the audio control button and the start/stop button.

BMW X5 xDrive30D Sport- 72.90 Lacs
BMW X5 xDrive30 xLine- 82.40 Lacs
BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport- 82.40 Lacs

While we haven’t yet got our hands on the SAV yet, but with the laundry list of features and the size to go by, we feel BMW have a stellar product once again.
