BMW India has just launched yet another luxury sedan in India. This time it’s the 620d GT. Priced strategically at Rs 63.90 lakh, the 620d GT will only be available in one trim, the Luxury Line. Typically, the 6-series GT came in two variants; 630d M sport and 630i petrol, however this new version will sure be welcomed. Engine duties on the new 620d GT will be taken care by a 2.0 - litre turbo diesel engine making 190bhp of max power and 400Nm of peak torque. This translates to the 0-100 km/Hr dash being roughly established at 7.9 secs (BMW claimed).

On the inside, the Beemer sports a 10.25-inch Infotainment system mated to Apple car Play. There is the standard 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting and wood/ chrome tapestry finish which gives a premium feel to the interiors. The steering gets the new BMW gene wrap around leather sporty steering wheel. For back seat luxury, rear passengers get two 10.25-inch screens mounted behind the front seats.

On the outside, the signature massive kidney grille again makes an appearance and makes the car looks sporty and menacing. The 620d GT gets quite impressive frameless windows, distinctive coupe roofline and an automatic tailgate. The adaptive headlights are quite pronounced as they are functional and seem to complement the massive kidney grilles.

The car comes with a sporty active rear spoiler too, adding finesse to the whole GT look. Now we will be reviewing the 620d GT in sometime, however in our opinion, we do feel with such performance numbers, such aggressive pricing and bold styling the 620d GT will have a lot of suitors in the market.
