Here are few quick highlights of the car-
The car is produced in the brand’s home country at Oxford along with their other range of cars. The compact unit with integrated power electronics and transmission is position in the front section of the support frame by means of a solid tube structure. The high voltage battery with model specific configuration is made up of lithium ion cells sub divided into 12 modules.
Now lets take a look at the car

Mini Cooper is based on Mini 3 Door. The dimensions, design, space and interior ambience of the new Mini Cooper SE are based on the conventionally powered vehicle. With an unladen DIN weight of 1365 kgs, the Electric Mini Cooper SE, is just 145 kgs heavier than the regular model. The charger socket for this Mini Cooper SE is positioned at the same position where the fuel refuel cap is in the regular Mini Coopers, the only differentiator here is an embossed Mini Electric Logo on the cap.
On the front, you still have the much famed Mini’s hallmark hexagonal grille, but this time it is a closed unit, as the electric motor requires less cooling air. A yellow decorative bar on the grill and the exterior mirror caps are finished in the same colour. The Mini Cooper SE comes fitted with LED Headlamps as standard norm.
On the interiors, the Mini Cooper SE now comes with digital instrument panel, which is 5.5 inch colour screen. At the centre of this fully digital screen, the road speed is shown in figures with a peripheral band scale. The speed band is also displayed in the light ring of the central instrument- in Red, White or Green colour, basis the mode selected.

Other additional information includes the charge levels, status of driver assistance systems, or directions from navigation.
As mentioned earlier, the Electric Motor, generated 184 PS of power with 270 NM of torque, which is available from the word Go. This lets the car accelerate from standstill to 60 kmph in just 3.9 seconds, which is on par with the conventionally powered cars and its top speed is limited to 150 kmph.
We think, Urban Mobility with pure electric power, just became that much greener and affordable with this new Mini Cooper SE.
